Project information about finding retired trams new homes.

Works to expand Bendigo Tramways are complete – increasing capacity to restore historic trams and securing ongoing skilled jobs in central Victoria. 

A retired W Class tram is now a quiet haven for school children wanting a break from the hubbub of the playground. 

Tram 807 made the long journey to its new home, the dedicated Men’s Shed members have been diligently restoring it with the help of local volunteers.  

A historic W-Class tram held in storage away from public view for nearly 30 years has been lovingly transformed into a boutique B&B on the edge of the Yarra Valley.
